A project for a shopping cart system's enhancement was kicked off at Abstract Technology for a long-term partner located in US. The client is best known for its web and intranet development, it also provides online marketing and software integrated solutions for its global clients.

The existing system is a common online shopping cart system. With this system, shoppers can view, select and buy products in the front end. And in the back end, employees can manage product orders, shoppers' detailed information and products catalogue. To seamlessly meet the client's business need, the system is required to be enhanced into a full functional shopping cart system related to tax, products shipping weight, order status, inventory adjustment etc.

Abstract Technology Java engineers are now dedicated to the design phase after gaining a clear understanding of the client's requirement.
