A one-year ODC contract was signed for systems' migration from VB to VB.Net. (4 Nov, 2005)

Abstract Technology recently signed a one year's ODC contract with a US client who provides its customers products and solutions with access to data warehousing, mining, and collection etc. A dedicated offshore development center of 10.Net developers working on these systems has been set up according to the contract.

Our work involves several existed systems which were built on Visual Basic 6 and need migrating and streamlining to VB.Net. The first system we took over is mainly for bonding industry; it consists of three core modules of agency, agent, and bond which will be used to manage and track agencies, agents, and bonds, There are also other modules for communications, tasks, scheduling and system administrator tasks.

Once the completion of the system migration has been done, our partnership will move on to solutions of other systems which will also be migrated to VB.Net.
