The 2004 China Outsourcing Summit was held on September 15-16, in Beijing International Hotel. Abstract Technology's delegates attended this conference.

The 2004 China Outsourcing Summit was a part of the Outsourcing World Summit Conference Series. It focused on representing the capability of Chinese outsourcing suppliers, providing Western and Chinese participants a platform to share their perspectives and experiences as well as the cooperation opportunities.

"China is perhaps the most dynamic and important emerging outsourcing market in the world today." With an economy that is expanding at an unprecedented rate, an increasingly Western business and life style, and a huge untapped market and labour pool, China has to be quickly and fully understood and integrated into every organization's strategy for growth. It is not only a source of offshore talent that may soon rival India and other established locations, but also a new target for Western companies seeking new, fast growing markets for their company's outsourcing services.
