An e-commerce website development on JAVA was kicked off for a Canadian client. (12 Sep, 2006)

Abstract Technology recently started an e-commerce website development on Java for a web design company based in Canada.

The system is an online food court, which will gather all restaurants that offer delivery, take down all their products and delivery hours, implement all that information on the program so when the customer is looking to order some food, the restaurants that would deliver in his area appear in categorized manner. It supports live chat, content management, online billing and quality control.

As the requirement the client provided was quite rough and the development technology was not identified, we recommended the following development environment after the requirement analysis and the comparison within the popular technologies such as PHP, .NET, JAVA and ASP.
