Abstract Technology successfully completed the consulting project of an online Chinese Chess game-playing website. (21 July, 2005)

Abstract Technology is currently assisting a UK client, an emerging software design & development company, in developing an online Chinese Chess game-playing website after finishing the consulting work.

The project consisted of a content management website and a web application that would enable people to play Chinese Chess online. This application should support multiple users with the functions of online registration, game-playing, chat, ranking and newsletter's delivery etc. Moreover, a comprehensive content management system (CMS) would be provided, which was used for administrators and editors to conveniently maintain the website.

At present, the consulting work has already finished with the effort of Abstract Technology's consultants and architects. They respectively gave some valuable recommendations on requirement and framework. We suggested utilizing the technologies of J2EE, Socket, Struts and MVC etc considering the development & maintenance cost, scalability and security. The coding as well as testing will be subsequently executed by our dedicated development team.
