Abstract Technology successfully completed a J2EE-based web application which played a key role in the World Xiangqi Masters Champion. (01 Mar, 2006)The World Xiangqi Masters Champion was hosted by World Mind Masters Limited, in cooperation with the Chinese Xiangqi Association, China Qi-Yuan. Its online elimination game attracted over thousands players and more than 400 were fighting online synchronously in maximum. The xiangqi-playing application ( http://www.worldmindmasters.com ) was developed by Abstract Technology for a software design and development services provider based in the UK . The project was a content management web site with an application that allows people to play xiangqi online. Players are able to register online and play games against other players. All results will be stored and the players will be ranked according to the results. The website allows for online registration, login, search, news and events etc. and a content management system as a back-end was required to maintain the web site. Abstract Technology was involved in this project right from the system consulting through design, implementation, testing and the final on-time delivery. Thanks to our highly experienced java engineers dedicated to this project who contributed a lot during these phases to meet the client's satisfaction.
