A mobile application based on J2ME/AJAX/JSP gets under way. (10 Jan, 2007)

Abstract Technology recently signed a contract with a UK client to deliver a development solution of training management software.

The software is developed for people in bodybuilding. It will help people log and keep track of their training in a mobile environment, analyse peoples' training method and provide them with "best practice" training and weight loss support.

The software would be written in java micro edition, so that it may be run on any phone which is java enabled. The front end website would base on JSP and AJAX framework, meanwhile the administrator website on JSP too. For the PDA application, J2ME would be used to build a user friendly UI.

Abstract Technology will handle the whole development lifecycle from requirement gathering/analysis, software design, coding to testing and QA. And now, The PM & SA of the project team is dedicated in the requirement analysis/design.
